My name is Stephen Niedzielski, or publicly, Steve Niedzielski. I presently work as a software engineer at Nintendo Technology Development, Inc., a research and development division of Nintendo. I’m also a senior computer engineer student at the DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, Washington. You may contact me at sn@niedzielski.com.
Miscellaneous facts:
I was born in 1985 in Erie, Pennsylvania. I attended St. Stephen’s pre-school and then Chestnut Elementary. I was homeschooled from third through tenth grade, but also took commercial art at Erie County Technical School in tenth grade. I biked often, kayaked in Lake Erie, and acted at the Erie Playhouse for several years. My family and I moved to Prattville, Alabama shortly before I turned 17, where I attended Prattville High School.
I made the February, 2008 DigiPen “student spotlight” and I also made the May, 2007 newsletter as well.
I am the creator and maintainer of WaterBlogged!, a community weblog some of my friends write on.
I have a single brother. My parents own a really neat company. I am very interested in music and digital photography. Most of my time is spent studying. I don’t have a favorite color.
My favorite teenage mutant ninja turtle is Michelangelo.

I am the lead singer for The Platelets, a Seattle based band. I’ve also done sets with the Shaven Cat Killers, another Seattle area band.
Other web stuff:
I use a track tracking service called last.fm. I find their song recommendation algorithm to be extremely primitive and ineffective. I use the service principally to give an idea what I listen to. Anyway, they have a fancy website widget will I shall now display:

You can see I’ve made it so the above widget fits in seamlessly with my website.
I’m a big fan of Google Mail, Reader, Calendar, Docs, Maps, and Bookmarks. Live Search Maps “bird eye” view is quite nice. Oh, I also have a Facebook account, but I don’t take it too seriously.
